Past performances with conductor Ludovic Morlot, Staatsorchester Rheinische Philharmonie, Philharmonie Baden-Baden, Seongnam Philharmonic, Colburn Orchestra, Philharmonia Corea, KNUA Orchestra, Caesura Youth Orchestra. Appearances on KBS television and Korean radio stations.
Former principal bass, Shanghai Symphony Orchestra. The Colburn School, Korea National University of Arts.

When I travelled through the No.9 Highway in the Taitung County area, Taiwan; the weather was cloudy and filled with blue and depress; the tidal waves of the Pacific Ocean seems shout to somenting or someone; I gazed at the sea shore and sky, at that moment, I still cannot understand and wonder why: the rhythms from the 2nd. movement of this double bass sonata were arised from my brain. I parked my scooter alone the Highway, and "listen" to the Sonata in E Minor for Double Bass and Piano which composed by Montag in my mind. Lonely so much? Maybe. Thanks for the great play by Mikyung Sung, the performance is nothing but wonderful and vivid like an angel fall into its thinking. Bravo!! Applaused from Taiwan.

I am not sure, I think it was borrowed from the school she was visiting to teach at in China. So yes it's quite possible that it's Chinese made, possibly a Shen Classic 3/4?

It's all we recorded at the time! I didn't learn the rest of the sonata until 2 years later!
